Comments: Private! Hello, I'm 36 years old, and love the R&B
music sinds I was about 16 years old, I've got 18 dr. Feelgood cd's, and
cd's from New Adventures, Bob Seger, John Hiatt, Garth Brooks ZZ Top etc.
I'm very interrested in the Dr.Feelgood cd-rom, will you please keep me
informed about that. For This web site adress, I contacted an e-mail adress
on a tour scedule I receieved last year when I ordered some darkblue Dr.Feelgood
stickers to put on our new car. Can you keep me informed by mail about
the Dr.Feelgood cd-rom, because we don't use a computer for Internet but
a TV Netbox. [Note by Gabi: I've left out Mac's address here.] Will you
keep this private information save & secret, please ? I give it to
you because I'd like to recieve information about buying the cd-rom, when

Comments: Excellent website, was always crazy about feelgoods from 1977
on, unfortunatetly only saw them three times and wilko had already left.
Some more musical chords/guitar riffs would be appreciated by us old feelgood
fans who annoy their kids with this great music. rgds gpw

Comments: Dear Gabi! Yesterday I saw "The Doctors" at AKKURAT
in Stockholm. The is only one world for this:SENSATION! I mean, I saw Dr
Feelgood 1980 at Top Rank Brighton, so I am an "old" fan. It
seemed yesterday that "time stood still". It could have been
1974 with Wilko, 1980 with Gypie Mayo later on with Johnny Guitar. But
it is 2000 with Robert Kane, Steve Walwyn, PH Mitchell and Kevin Morris!
Dr Feelgood rules! And I really like there new songs: i.e "The Walk"
(Anybody remember the "Inmates" version with Bill Hurley!) And
I really dig Roberts Sunglasses! Thanks boys, for a great show! May you
rock forever! I am 38 years old, but last night I felt 38 years "young"
I only missed one song: NOMODO YAKOMO! But nobody´s perfect! My very
Best from a snowy but today very "warm and steeming" Stockholm!
And pls: Doctor Feelgood come back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments: As a frequent visitor to Gabi's excellent site, I just thought
I'd comment on Robert Kane, who I saw performing with the Feelgoods for
the first time at London's Worcester Park Club just before Christmas last
year. I've seen the band perform live numerous times through all the line-up
changes since 1983, and depite these changes I don't recall seeing one
gig that was even slightly lacklustre, let alone poor. Believe me, if they
had been crap on any one occasion I wouldn't deny it! The wonderful and
irreplaceable Lee Brilleaux has gone, the only rock star that I can genuinely
say I mourned the passing of, but the band correctly chose to continue,
with a new lead singer, NOT a replacement, and this new incarnation of
the band should ultimately be judged on its own individual merits, as the
sum of its parts, and given a chance, and should not be immediately made
to suffer by futile comparisons to previous line-ups, comparisons that
are in fact insulting to both parties. Sure, it's a different band, but
in my opinion it's still a bloody good one. As for "Cast Iron Arm"
and his comments, HAVE SOME RESPECT! No one's making Kevin Morris out to
be "Dr Feelgood" - that was Lee Brilleaux, we all know that,
but Kevin has been Dr Feelgood's drummer for eighteen-odd years, which
does count for something! Anyway, Pete Gage made an excellent fist of being
the new Dr Feelgood frontman - he proved that the band could continue -
and much as Robert Kane's singing style is distinctly different (it took
me a bit by surprise at first and will take some getting used to for most
of us die-hard Feelgood fans) he will also make an excellent frontman given
time. The band's gigs will always be an ultimately rewarding experience,
and at the very least, I'd rather have the current incarnation of Dr Feelgood
than nothing at all. So come on you Feelgoods! All power to your r'n'b
elbow!
