Hope you have a good time at the show as that is what Feelgood music is all about. Thank you very much for organising the tribute show......we are very grateful to all bands who carry on playing the music of Dr Feelgood and helping keep the music alive. Sorry I could not be there but will be in there in spirit.
Keep on Feelin Good.

just back from the gig. FANTASTIC, BOYS! the best "dr. feelgood" gig i've seen since lee died (and a few with the lee brilleaux combo were not as excellent as yours! steve and co. step back! an agressiv, hard driving band with the raw edge of dr. feelgood in their prime. don't let this be a one off, you're too good for it! and martin, sorry, i nicked your setlist off the stage!
robert kane, will you please take note, the singer of the feelgood factor didn't check once for lyrics. he bloody knew them!
cheers
roland
(Note by Gabi: Roland - Obviously you never have recognized
Pete Gage had a small notebook with lyrics in his pocket when being on
stage the first months with Dr Feelgood. You can believe me he had thrown
an eye into it more than once... What do you think how I have made the
lyrics collection at this website this big? Also I have seen Lee Brilleaux
sometimes with a textsheet in his hand at gigs when playing a new song.
I think it's no shame, especially when you're touring constantly. For an
"old" Feelgood fan it's no big deal having the lyrics in head,
after hearing the stuff countless times. I would like to see you having
to learn 30 songs in one month! There not just the lyrics but also breaks
and new arrangements you have to keep in mind. Seems some people forget
that. I got big respect for anyone who got the balls stepping in front
of an audience of 50 per cent or so people with an "against everything
new in Dr Feelgood" attitude. And there's lots of Feelgood fans who
still cry for Wilko. Hey, it's the year 2000 very soon and Wilko is is
doing his own thing since decades!)

Hi R.S.,
obviously you have not seen the link to the official The
Yardbirds website which is to find various times at the Dr Feelgood
pages... Also there is a page with info of former Dr Feelgood members with
info on what they are doing now.

Roland,
You are a genius.
I had a vinyl copy of this which I bought when it came out (1979 I think).
But it was stolen & I've been looking for a replacement LP ever since.
Call me thick but it never occurred to me to see if it was on CD. I have
just checked & see that the CD not only exists but has 4 extra tracks.
It certainly is a pleasure to support Mr Lewis who I had the honour of
having a drink with once along with Russell Strutter before a gig by the
Wilko Johnson & Lew Lewis Band & is a nice bloke as well as the
greatest living mouth harp player.
Thank you
Nick

dear sir lord egg,
this is just incredible, can such a great thing happen? - i've been an
extremely loyal fan of the pirates (green/spence/farley). i could've planned
a trip to the uk from japan ONLY for this one gig if i had known it earlier.
would greatly appreciate your providing me ANY info about them in the future
(and about the 3/9 gig) because no news available on the pirates here on
this side of the world. my email address will change on 6th sept to yukiko.akagawa@bms.com
- looking forward to hearing from you, listening to the fistful of dubloons!!
best regards,

Dear Sir,
I'm a record producer in NASHVILLE (not country) and am huge fan of Wilco
Johnson, Mick Green, etc. I produced all the records and wrote most of
the songs for Webb Wilder and the Beatnecks, and would love to hear your
group. Do you have any thing available?
Sincerely,

As far as I know Rough Trade is licensed to press cds of the Feelgoods in Germany. Obviously the same stuff as the UK pressings.
Re: amplifier info
Friday, 04-Jun-1999 15:26:59
Steve Walwyn uses a Fender Hot Rod De Ville 60 watt amp - guitar is plugged straight in, he does not use any pedals.
